- Supervising, coaching and developing of the R&D-team consisting of R&D-engineers, model makers/proto typists and technical draughts(wo)man.
- Establishing and implementing of the long and short term R&D objectives.
- Developing and monitoring of the most appropriate process methodologies and project management tools in order to obtain a coherent and consistent way of working within the entire term for the long term.
- Supervising and pro-active guiding of the entire R&D development process (according to the stage-gate procedure) of new products and models from the concept phase through production.
- Setting the R&D priorities in collaboration with marketing, purchasing, production, sales and IT.
- Establishing, following up, adjusting and monitoring all relevant R&D-budgets and costs.
- Taking Make-or-buy decisions at both development level and product level, in collaboration with purchasing and production.
- Reporting and strategic advice to the general management on level of R&D.
- Providing feedback, framing and implementing of the general management decisions to R&D team.
- Visiting customers and prospects in Belgium and Luxembourg. You approach dealers to sell our high-end designer seating and related products.
- You are responsible for spotting new trends and evolutions.
- You feed market information back to the organisation.
- You report to the Sales Manager.

- You will support the Sales Manager by assisting the other Account Managers and by being part of the team that organises sales campaigns, events, training, concrete contract leads, ...
- You will be 50% abroad.
- You are feeding the marketing team with new trends and evolutions.
- You report to the Sales Manager.
- You are our customers’ first point of contact.
- You handle the administrative and commercial follow-up of all sales and after-sales activities.

- You are an important link in the communication chain between sales and production.
- You can convert figures into documents that are easy to read for analysis and reporting purposes.
- You initiate the development process of new products.
- You are the point of contact for our international design team.
- You organise and monitor consumer product tests.
- You carry out market analyses and map out market evolutions.
- You are part of the team that develops actions and plans for the optimum commercialisation of new products.
- You oversee and are responsible for the digital translation of offline marketing and communication strategies (social media, SEO, ...).
- You create various marketing-related PowerPoint presentations.
- You report to management.
The R&D product developer coordinates the development process of new models and accomplishes the following tasks :
- Translating design proposals of external designers into technically elaborate, feasible concepts.
- Building prototypes using various prototype technologies (2D/3D-CAD tools, 3D-printing, virtual prototyping, comfort models, …) in order to obtain a concept approval of the marketing team.
- Project based coordination of the multidisciplinary development process, while monitoring quality, timing milestones and target cost.
- Making ready for production and ensuring product validation (Industrial Release) of a new model.
- The R&D product developer develops an average of 2 to 3 new models per year.
- As an R&D product developer, you support the full life cycle of a product.
- You report to the R&D Manager.
- You are responsible for stitching the exclusive leather hides and fabrics into covers for our design furniture.
- You take responsibility for the quality of the finished cover.
- You receive a planning on a daily basis of the material to be processed.
- You report to the foreman.
- Integrating product designs in machine language to ensure proper execution of the milling operations in production.
- Managing and updating the database and control programs of the CNC machines.
- Management and implementation of updates to the software of the CNC machines.
- First-line contact with the machine supplier in case of malfunction.
- Supervision, maintenance, follow-up and optimization of machine park and tooling.
- Proposition/implementation of improvement paths in terms of productivity, quality and safety.
- As part of the expansion of our technical department, you will be responsible for the preventive maintenance of the machinery and the adjustment of machines (woodworking machines, stitching machines, CNC machines).
In the event of major breakdowns, you can rely on specialised companies. - You are responsible for general maintenance in the production halls and offices.
- You report to the production manager.
- You use a CNC-operated woodworking machine to carry out the drilling and milling operations on parts that will be used to build the frame of our designer seating furniture.
- You are responsible for the settings and loading of the CNC machine and subsequently sort the milled parts.
- You carry out first-line maintenance and independently mount the correct machine tools.
- You help maintain the order, cleanliness and safety of the machines and the work area.
- You report to the team leader of the woodworking department.
- You are responsible for packing the finished furniture, after it has been approved by the quality control, so that it can be delivered to the customers in impeccable condition.
- Occasionally you will also be deployed in the assembly department.
- You will report to the master upholsterer.
