At JORI, you will be involved in the production of high-end design armchairs, sofas and relax armchairs. You will gradually learn the profession of upholsterer and evolve, depending on your talents and experience, towards increasingly specialised tasks.
As a versatile production operator, you will also be required to work in various positions within our production and logistics. In particular, you will be involved in packing, loading and unloading, shipping as well as various production support tasks.
No two days are quite the same.
You will start with supporting tasks and gradually learn about the different stages of the production process.
- You will help prepare components such as armrests, cushions and seating surfaces.
- You will learn to upholster various components with fabric or leather and ensure a neat, high-quality finish.
- You will assemble components and secure them firmly using screws, glue and other fastening methods.
- You will help inspect and prepare finished chairs and sofas.
- You will assist with packing and preparing our products for shipment.
- You will help with the loading and unloading of goods and materials.
- You will support colleagues in the shipping department by preparing and moving goods.
- You will provide support wherever needed within production and logistics.
- You will work alongside experienced colleagues who will teach you the upholstery trade step by step.
- You will gradually progress to more complex and specialised tasks.
- You are eager to work and learn new things.
- You are hands-on and have an interest in technology and assembly.
- Experience in upholstery, furniture manufacturing or assembly is an advantage, but not a requirement.
- You are motivated, enthusiastic and enjoy working with colleagues.
- You are physically fit and enjoy active and varied work.
- You work accurately and have an eye for quality and detail.
- You are flexible and don't mind taking on different tasks.
- You want to develop yourself and eventually become an experienced upholsterer.
