Important! Before using the JORI furniture, please first read the maintenance instructions carefully. Only that way can JORI guarantee you long lasting pleasure in its use. You can find further information in the enclosed JORI care booklet.

Guarantee on seating furniture (within ordinary load and correct and appropriate use):

All our seating furniture issued of normal sales are covered by an international guarantee. It is for 10 years in respect of any defect in the construction of the wooden frame.

On labour and materials, mechanisms and mechanical moving parts is a degressive guarantee of 5 years valid. Our charge in the repair costs, for the use you have made, comes to: see schedule below.

In the event of a valid claim under the term of guarantee, where we have to replace the upholstery, a degressive guarantee of 5 years will be taken into account. The charge of JORI in the purchase price of your seat comes to: see schedule below.

Guarantee on tables and interior accessories (within ordinary load and correct and appropriate use):

Our tables and accessories are covered by a guarantee of 2 years. The guarantee covers defects in contruction, function, material and workman- ship occurred.

As with all hand-crafted products, each JORI piece is to some extent unique. In particular there could be slight variations of tint, structure and size. JORI cannot be responsible for them.

The following things are excluded from guarantee:

  • All characteristics typical of glass, marble and the natural product wood and leather, as described in the care booklet, such as e.g. natural minor scratches, blemishes and scars, normal stretching and discoloration.
  • All damage and deterioration due to normal wear and tear, to rough or inappropriate treatment, to excessive use, to accidents or to superior power.
  • The guarantee is also voided if the purchaser or a third party treats the products in any way other than in accordance with JORI’s maintenance instructions or when repairs are done at own initiative.
  • Wear on the surface due to normal wear and tear, natural changes of color tones by the action of light and glass breakage subject to inappropriate treatment. 
  • Incorrect or improper assembly by the end customer or third parties.

In case of a claim, if in JORI’s opinion repairs are possible, no right of exchange will arise.

JORI will be liable only for the costs of repairing the defective articles, and any other claims for damage of whatever kind are specifically excluded.

The JORI guarantee takes effect from invoice date of JORI. In order to activate it, it is best to fill in your guarantee card on www.jori.com/guarantee.

Any complaint or problem on the initial receipt of the products must be notified by registered letter within 5 workdays.
