JORI has surrounded itself with a team of leading designers who exclusively create JORI models. They have been selected based on their skill of combining top design with top comfort. They include :
Jean-Pierre Audebert: a renowned career within the French design world
Audebert studied at the renowned Ecole Boulle’ and is also a member of the famous ‘Société des Artistes Décorateurs’ in Paris, the pinnacle of French interior design architecture. His CV contains endless creations and projects that include French TGV trains, etc..
David Fox : Rising British design talent.
David Fox is a British designer who recently joined the JORI design team and contributes to the JORI collection.
He has already won several design prices, including The Good Design Award Chicago, Red Dot Product Design Award and the FX International Award Product Designer of the Year, by which he follows in the footsteps of some European top designers.
Since the foundation of his own studio in 2002, he has been working together with international furniture brands in the project market. He is known for his simplistic design with an eye for balance and refinement
Verhaert New Products & Services: renowned innovation centre
Koen Verhaert followed his father, Paul Verhaert, in the 90s after having successfully completed his studies as a product developer at college in Eindhoven. Paul Verhaert had at that point already been part of the JORI team for some 20 years and was closely linked to the development of the JORI relax mechanism.
Their company, Verhaert New Products & Services, is well known as a Belgian product innovation company active within various sectors and which, at JORI, specifically leads innovation and creation processes.

A few times each year, JORI carries out market research in a variety of countries. From designer sketches to sophisticated prototypes, everything is discussed and tested down to the smallest detail. Each model that is designed and sold by JORI has customer approval. This is part of what helps JORI introduce new, fashionable, high quality and highly comfortable seating onto the market.

In order to be able to guarantee a sustainable product, people need to be able to use fine materials made or supplied by partners who meet very strict criteria. That is why, without exception, each material is not only delivered with the associated lab tests, but has undergone JORI import checks.
