As a furniture professional, information and knowledge of JORI products is essential to provide an optimum service to the customer. Below you can read more about the new possibilities within our range and the new services that JORI offers.

Recliner and TV chair get another name!

Indeed. From now on we use one umbrella name for the entire category: “recliners”.

Within this category we make the distinction between:

• Mono-move recliner = 1 movement, synchronous (former recliner) 
• Multi-move recliner = 2 movements, asynchronous (former TV-chair) 

Thanks to the patented stepless JORI mechanism you adjust the back and footstool of a mono-move recliner in one single movement. Just sit down and bend backwards is enough to adjust your position. In reclining position all muscles will totally relax. When you reach this moment, we talk about “0 muscle tone”.	In a multi-move recliner you can adjust back and footstool separately: these are asynchronously adjusted in two different movements. This mechanism allows you to adjust your seating position to specific situations such as reading, watching television, etc. This recliner allows a more active use as well as peaceful relaxing.

From now on, this new terminology is systematically being used in all JORI carriers (price list, website, iBook, catalogue,...)

What is the reason for this adjustment? 

Research has shown, that the term TV chair:

• does not give a clear description about the product specificity,
• is barely used by the consumer and thus also not used as a (Google) search term.

As 7 out of 10 customers prepare their purchase by searching information on the internet, it is very important to respond to relevant search terms. A frequently used (Google)-search term is “recliner”.

Therefore we opted for this term as a name for the umbrella product category. Once on the website, the customers choose their model and then opt for a mono- or multi-move version.

New price list

Shortly you will receive the new price list, valid as from 01.09.2015. There is no general increase in prices, but some individual models receive a price adjustment at the element level.

Please remove all former price lists (issue date 15.07.14) on August 31, 2015. At present you can download the new as well as the current price lists and iBooks on the extranet (select correct issue date of the price list!).

Kvadrat fabrics

As an extra service toward our dealers all Kvadrat-fabrics listed below can from now on be ordered for the models, where fabric covering is possible. However, these Kvadrat-fabrics are not included in the JORI-collection and are therefore you will not find them in the JORI sample tray. JORI will provide for the purchase & delivery of these fabrics. They are not included in JORI-actions.

Model information (included in the new price list)

• Symphony: also belongs to the “classics” range and is offered with a 15% discount.

• Ascot JR-t938: additional sizes and choice regarding the finish of the frame (black lacquered or chrome high-gloss).

• Bellino: is expanded by a footstool range (immediately available) and an armchair (available as from January 2016).

• Chinook: from now on the armrest is adjustable into 4 positions instead of continuously (same mechanism as the model Linea).

• Square: now also exists in Multi-move version.

• Tigra JR-2225: Optional a higher armrest for all couches and corner elements is available (= armrest of the model Tigra JR-2200).

• Recliners: combi-covering possible (both the body and armrests can be covered separately with fabric or leather).

• Contrasting stitch: By default, the stitching on the JORI furniture is delivered in tone on tone. It is also possible to deliver the stitching in 8 contrasting colours (white, brown, dark grey, red, beige, blue, silver grey, black) at a supplementary price of 20 € per seating place. Please state this clearly on your order.
