Comfort is in JORI’s DNA! Comfort does not only comprise the use of good materials as described further below, but it also depends hugely on ‘ergonomic’ design or shape. Comfort and design form the complete picture.

Meaning people can sit passively or actively depending on the choice of model.

Active sitting offers a high seatback with clear support for the back and arms. This seating and the harder cushions and springs ensure a comfortable seating position. A minimum seat height of 40 cm, harder cushions and springs are guaranteed.

Passive sitting is more ideal for people preferring to sit a little lower down, more comfortably and of course with a softer seat. Usually the back support leans further back and these types of models offer excellent comfort for relaxed seating.

The design of each model is the most important feature in terms of comfort and that is why JORI offers a range of models.

Everyone is unique and that is why everyone’s comfort is different !

JORI has a solution for everyone, large or small, heavy or lighter, people with long or short legs, with long or short bodies. Because JORI provides customised seating comfort!

-    Either select your optimal size when ordering.

-    Or JORI can offer you flexible functions that allow you to vary your daily use. Some examples of this :

Variable seating depth

With countless models you can adjust your sofa or arm chair, possibly with the functions it already has, and adjust your seating in the blink of an eye. For example, couples in which one person has longer legs than the other, can each set their optimal seating position for the same sofa.

Variable seating height
The seating height is an incredibly important parameter when it comes to comfort.

Standard height

When purchasing your JORI seats, you can determine the height yourself.

You can choose between standard height, + 1,5 cm or + 3 cm higher.

Variable back height
Countless models have a main support in which you can adjust the seatback height at any moment to be higher or lower and in many cases they can also be adjusted to move forwards or backwards.

Variable arm rest
Many models offer a variable arm rest which allows you to enjoy 100% supportive arm rests when sitting up and to enjoy a supportive head cushion when lying down.

In certain other models, the arm support can be quickly adjusted to become a fully supplementary seat.

Individual pneumatical adjustable lumbar support.
A certain number of models dispose of an invisible, individual pneumatical adjustable lumbar support in order to enable you to obtain your perfect back support.

Modularity
A new trend in custom comfort is modularity. Many JORI models have a modular construction so that you can optimally design your own ‘look’ and ‘feel’ depending on your requirements. JORI offers countless corner combinations, individual modules with and without arm rests, chaise longues and all kinds of foot rests.

In certain models, the backrest can be rotated so that you can look out into the garden or into the fireplace, as you wish.

Synchrone and asynchrone comfort.

SYNCHRONOUSLY: in which the back and foot rest modules move together.
ASYNCHRONOUSLY: in which the back and foot rest modules move separately. More active, upright seating is made possible through this.

Mini-Medi-Maxi comfort
