Music needs to be felt. But sometimes you find yourself tweaking and trimming a track for so long, that the feeling occasionally tends to slip away from you. Which is why I prefer to listen to rough takes in my JORI, remote control at the ready. Play, rewind, stop. Play, rewind, stop. Time and again. It drives my family up the walls. But to me it is sheer bliss: for, there in my JORI, eyes shut, conducting an imaginary symphony orchestra, is where the most heavenly melodies unfold.
